Patient Information and
Orthodontics is the branch of dentistry that corrects teeth and jaws that are positioned improperly. Crooked teeth and teeth that do not fit together correctly are harder to keep clean, are at risk of being lost early due to an uneven bite, and cause extra stress on the chewing muscles that can lead to facial imbalance. Teeth that are crooked or not in the right place can also detract from one’s appearance.
The benefits of orthodontic treatment include a healthier mouth, a more stable bite, and teeth that are more likely to last a lifetime.
Orthodontics is not just about straightening teeth: It is about achieving the beautiful, healthy smile you deserve and confidence that lasts a lifetime. Orthodontic treatment may not only improve your smile, but it can also improve your health. Doshi Orthodontics uses the latest digital imaging technology, along with a comprehensive examination to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Orthodontics helps position your teeth: Teeth that are better positioned are easier to clean and maintain. An accurate bite improves jaw function, increases chewing efficiency, provides long-term health to the jaw muscles and joints, and sustains the health of the gum tissue.
