At Doshi Orthodontics, we offer palatal expanders. Palatal expanders place gentle pressure on your upper jaw to widen it. They apply an increased amount of pressure every time you adjust them, which is typically done daily. You will be given a small “key” to insert into the expander once per day to crank it slowly open. Over time, the tiny adjustments widen your palate, allowing the correct amount of space for your teeth.
